I got the Craftsman 20v air inflator... mainly because you can hook it up to battery, 110ac and 12v cigarette lighter. So far has done well.

I purchase a Dewalt 12 volt compressor last month from Home Depot and find it works well for my 80 psf F250 tires. It also has a blower for inflatables. I purchased at my local Home Depot. I did not find on their website, but did find on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/DEWALT-DCC020...1462100&sr=8-2

Have this same one going on 5 years now never had any issues with it other than me putting a hole in the air line but that just let me convert it to regular air hose fittings instead of the proprietary one that comes on the hose so now i can use my own inflators on it.
Looking at the HF version and the VIAIR one they looks so similar even mounted on a cheap diamond plate skid.
I also have more than a few offroad friends that use one from COSTO (our favorite place besides AMAZON) that one is called the Bon-Aire 12v Inflator, max psi on that one is 110lbs $39.99. LINK
Had a friend try to get his Bon-Aire above 70 psi and was not able to so the Bon Air from Costco wouldn't be a valid choice for anything over 70 psi)

I have had several of the cheaper ones. The problem with them is they get hot and shutdown before your tire is full so you have to wait 15 minutes for the compressor to cool off so you can use it again. A good test is to let most of the air out of a tire and see if your compressor can air it up. If it can't you need a better compressor.
I didn't like the price of the VIAIR but it works!Donald AKA johndeerefarmer

Have to agree with JohnDeere
You get what you pay for. You can run the VAIR
Forever and inflate all 4 tires and adjust the RV ones. Cheaper on shut down to overheating

Maybe overkill, but I went with a Viair Dual OBA system on my F-450.
It's mounted between the bed and frame with a custom bracket. The setup wasn't inexpensive, but neither was my 349M.
