    Vanity sink replacement

My 2020 230RL is stainless with a terrible faucet. I was/am going to change it, but went to Camperland today and the new RV's have a heavy plastic like sink in it with a nice faucet. We don't like the metal sink anyway, so, want to change it for the new style sink and a faucet like the newer 5'rs. I know I can change the faucet for anyone, but, will sink be equally as easy to replace?

I saw a like sink on etrailer....looks the same, any advice will be appreciated.

    Always something to "make better".

    Thanks

Can you provide us a link to the sink on eTrailer so we can see what you're talking about? I think the "newer" sinks you're talking about are like the one in our 2020 Solitude - a cast resin. It has its drawbacks, too...

Ours came with a couple of molding defects in the form of some shallow pitting. The sink manufacturer sent me a repair kit (color matched), but the defects were not deep enough to get good coverage for color. It's only a cosmetic issue, though. My main concern is that the sink is, obviously, much softer than the stainless steel, so it might be less durable. If I had stainless steel, I'm not sure I would swap it out for one of the resin sinks.

Haha! I was 2 years AF then 25 years Army - kinda the reverse. My AFSC was 9756 (if I can remember back that far). Army MOS was 66H8A.
