    24MPR Ramp to Porch Conversion

Hello, has anyone converted the ramp on the 24MPR to a Party Porch?

I do not believe that ramp has the support structure to convert it to a party porch.

I mean, you can do whatever you want, but if it fails, don't look for a warranty replacement.

why would it not have the support structure for it?

If it is rated for a 3000lb atv to drive up it what would be the difference in hanging it via cable and it being 1500lb rating like all the other ones?

I'm curious because I am looking to buy a 2021 24mpr myself soon and would like to do this to mine

Not sure about the "support structure", but some trailer builders offer the patio function and railing as an add-on option, which would seem to indicate the ramp/door is built the same regardless of whether it could be used as a patio. JMO of course.

The current build of Momentum (last 2-3 years) has the same door whether you get the patio kit or not.

Previous years, it was different door, when you ordered the patio kit, it came with a different structure door.

The ramp was only rated for 1500lbs....not sure where you figured on 3000lbs. The garage itself only had/has a 1500LB capacity.

Just verified it with Grand Design.
