    Reflection Wheel Bolt Size

Doe anyone know the size of the wheel studs, not the nuts, on the Reflection 5th Wheels/ I used a 12 pt socket(big no no) and rounded off a lug nut. Probably screwed up the lug because the nut will spin but will not come off the stud.

I got that far, but there are different knurl diameters and lengths. I guess I'll have to call Dexter with the axle number

I misread, since this looks like a lighter FW, probably different axles & brakes.

I had replaced some studs on a Dexter 12x2" drum several years back. Dexter Studs 2-13/16" Total Length. 2-5/8" under Head to Tip of stud.

Are you sure you just didn't bugger up the cladding and that's what is free spinning? It cinches on right above the conical seat. You should be able to hammer on a properly sized 6-point impact socket and take the lugnut off.

If you need a replacement lugnut, I will send you one (or up to 32) for the price of postage.

I did the socket trick and it worked. There was enough of the lug nut undamaged for the socket to grab. I tapped it on with a hammer and spun it off with my impact.
    I'll take lucky over good.

Thanks for the off and I'll keep you in mind. I have a couple of more things to try. I have a set of rounded lug nut removal sockets on the way.

I believe Rob is correct. Its the nut cover that is spinning. I know you have special sockets coming but take a 6 point one and try now. I have heard of folks cutting the nut cover off (dremel tool) to get to the nut and then using an undersized 6 point socket - usually metric to get the nut off.
Good luck - post back on what the issue is.
