    Mpg

Just went from Jayco Jay flight 28RLS at 6900 lbs dry to an Imagine 22 RBE at 5300 lbs. My Tundra went from 9.6 mpg to 7.4 mpg. Any ideas why?

If you haven't changed your driving habits (speed) or terrain on which you tow, it's likely frontal area and wind resistance.

How many trips have you made? I ask because I've seen wide variations in mpg with terrain and wind direction. I would keep track over a number of trips and see how it averages out.

Might want to check hitch setup as well. As you probably know, trailer needs to be level or very slightly nose down. If you didn't change hitch setup with new rig, it's worth taking a look.

    Good luck.

Thanks, makes sense with the wind resistance. No difference in driving habits and Florida, so no hills. The WDH is set up well. I jokingly said to my wife, I guess if I had a 50 pound parachute opened I'd probably get 5mpg, so while weight may be a factor, it's most aerodynamics. Be safe.
