TCL Roku TV blaring when turned on

Our 2021 Imagine has a TCL Roku TV. When it is powered on, or when it is on but loses a signal (eg you disconnect an HDMI device without changing TV inputs), VERY loud music, on a loop, comes on. Is there a way to change the default start screen and sound that displays when there is no input selected?

I found my TCL Roku TV so frustrating that I threw it in the dumpster and replaced it with a Samsung. Sorry if I didn't solve your particular problem, but that TV is a POS.

I have not noticed that, but we did have it power on automatically because they come from the factory setup in "store" mode. I recommend you do a factory reset, and make sure it's in home mode (it asks you right after reset where this TV is located). Maybe this will help you. You could also try installing a new theme and see if the music loop changes. I've had several TCL Roku TVs and haven't seen this issue.

While it isn’t user friendly I certainly cannot share your opinion it is a piece of sh.t.
Our 40” is actually a good set.

I was more than happy to see a TCL Roku tv in my new rig. TCL makes one of the best TVs out there....the four series isn't their best but it's much better than a lot of other budget options. Coupled with a soundbar it's certainly an acceptable tv.
