I have the morryde reel, and don't use it. Have to handle the cord all the way in, and all the way out. PITA. I use a plastic pail.

I neatly coiled up my 50 amp cord, tied it all up so it wouldn't fall apart and left it in my storage unit.

I use a cord that I made up with 10 gauge SOOW. I have replaced the main with a 30 amp two pole breaker and have never tripped it with 2 A/C's and electric water heater running. A little bit of planning for using coffee maker, microwave, or whatever is a lot easier than fighting the monster cord.

I hung a couple of metal water hose hangers inside the basement. We have 50 amp x 20 ft., a 50 amp x 15 ft., and a 30 amp x 60 ft. that all fit on them.

I don't have a lot of under belly storage and that 45' cord is heavy and bulky so I just opted to throw it in the bed of the truck between the hitch and tailgate. last thing in first thing out, when I'm not towing I'm using the cord as I am full time so in my case this is best.

Our 2800bh works fine with a 30 amp cord. I think the 50 amp cord that came with it is buried somewhere deep in our cellar. Not sure though, I haven't seen it in a couple years. Good riddance.

30A will work fine with one AC and you are careful about energy management
On my previous trailer, one 30A was not enough. I got tired of resetting breakers. I added a second 30A service, plus a separate A circuit to run space heaters. Life was good.

I bought a MORryde REEL56-001H Easy Reel Cord Spooler - Tall
    I put it here:

That 50 amp cord is a back breaker to lift.
It's not a cheap solution but it works very well.

Great idea. When at home I plug into my 30a 240v 4-wire dryer outlet using this adaptor. https://acworks.com/collections/adap...r-ev1430ms-018. It allows me to run both AC units since each is on a opposite power legs on a 30 amp 240v feed. I still have to use the heavy 50 amp cord though.

I may make a custom cord using 10-4 SOOW with a 14-30P on one end and a CS6364 on the RV end and keep it at the house.
