Pump on to empty fresh water tank?

This seems strange to me. I’m trying to empty the fresh water tank after sanitizing. I opened the two drain plugs under the rig (303RLS). No water drains. I opened the sink faucets thinking they needed to be open, but that didn’t help. Looks like I need to run the pump. Is this how it’s done or am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

I don't have a 303 RLS.....but look and see if you have a WHITE handle on the side of the trailer. It will be like the grey and black tank handles....only it will be WHITE. If you do, that is the drain for the fresh water tank.

I think those 2 drain drain plugs that you a referring to is the low points. Those are just to drain your pipes. Under your rig should be another valve with either a blue or white handle. There should also be a pipe sticking straight down where the water will drain.

Thanks! I found it. Couldn’t see it from the front because it is back behind the axels.

My delivery guy this weekend pointed out the fresh water release valve on my 337. He talked about people laying on the ground and opening it and being surprised by how much water came out with so much pressure. Maybe keep that in mind when you pull it open.

Shhhhhhh! Everybody needs to learn for themselves. It’s part of the initiation into the brother/sisterhood of RVers. Only when you see someone else learn this lesson for themselves can you rise to the Master of RVing level.

GD originally had a long extension on my valve so it could be pulled without getting under the rig. That fell off after about 1000 miles. So I put another on and used some locktite on the junction and it is still with me. I had to get a new T handle too. Cheap fix tho.
