Removing plastic from. Theater seats...
Has anyone removed the plastic from the foot rests on the theater seat recliners? It's sewn on and I don't see an easy way to remove it. It looks like Thomas Payne advertising. I wouldn't mind it so much if it had no writing.

Better than peeling. The plastic holds up better than the upholstery material.

I removed mine with a pair of scissors. With the foot rest extended, I cut from the back side of the rest.
