    Hi Brian and Kellie,

Just picked up a 310GK-R, got the solar to run the fridge (with interstate wet batteries, yeah right). Found my controller where you said, but I am unable to get it to power up and stay on. It turns on, but displays the data and blanks within 10 seconds. I have even tried the Renogy BT app, but not sure what to connect to? LCIRemotex42 doesn't work. Neither does PWB-1. When I do get the LCD to respond it is showing my panel is generating 38.3V at 0.1amp The amperage seems really really low, I expected more from a panel in full sun. Any recommendations?

Are your batteries charged? If your batteries are fully charged, the MPPT charge controller shouldn't be putting much into the batteries. Basically a trickle charge.

Not sure now, I connected a battery charger and charged overnight. Batteries were essentially drained before that. I suppose I can run the fridge off the batteries today and tonight, see if the charge value changes. Thanks!

According to the GD parts lookup site, the 2021s no longer use the Jaboni controller. Two other controllers are listed - a Victron and one I can't make out the name on. You can look them up here by navigating to "Electrical" under your year/make/model:

    https://www.granddesignrv.com/owner-...s/detail/73602

The Victron does not appear to have a display.

Edit/PS: on the parts lookup, the Jaboni is listed but says, "No longer available."

The Jaboni is obviously not working correctly. I may have to upgrade to a Victron system along with some Lithium Iron batteries to keep me going. Thanks for the info!

Mine had a wire disconnected, dislodged, or never connected, your choice. It was the sense wire from the batteries, the far left red wire on the Jaboni. Corrected the wiring issue, been flawless ever since. I'd check wiring. The app i use, per the little pamphlet is called Solar App. It will connect, I think mine had a QR code maybe. Once I am near the trailer, I open the app, it auto connects, instant status.

Just picked up our new 349m-r built in May 2021. It has both gen and solar. The MPPT controller has a Jaboni sticker but with a MC2430N10 part number. My guess it is a rebranded MPPT controller.

My question is how do I connect to the controller to see details? There is no remote display connected but do have a BT-2 Bluetooth device which needs an app to connect, but which one? We received no manuals for this unit but have one for what appears everything else on the RV down to the fire extinguisher. LOL.

    See pics.

In the App Store, search "solar app". I had a very small pamphlet pointing me to that app. It works.
