ST 310GK Plumbing; PEX connected to Rubber Hose?

Looking at the plumbing in the basement of our 2018 Solitude 310GK, it appears they use standard PEX Clamp Rings when connecting the blue and red "rubber hose" to PEX with a plastic PEX barb connector. I did know know you could use the PEX clamps on the rubber hose but I guess it's possible. I've got a couple of upgrades I want to do and just want to be sure I'm seeing this stuff clearly.

I would keep a very close eye on every one of those connections. The 1/2" ID hose was never designed to be used with a PEX fitting. Almost of all mine were leaking due to the poor seal. All of the hose to PEX connections have been removed or fixed.

OK, thanks. I could fine NO REFERENCE online where such a connection is allowed.

Seems to me it would be simpler for GD to dump the rubber hose and just go with PEX throughout. There can't be a significant cost difference and would save a lot of hassles.

I don't get the logic of using rubber to PEX. Can't be any easier IMO.

You are welcome. Please be sure to look under your kitchen sink and bathroom sink as you might find hose to PEX connections to the faucets. You might also have one behind the toilet. That was one of my many leaks while using a pressure regulator set to 50 psi.
