Install Light jacket rack on interior wall

    I just purchased a 2021 367BHS in March
After our first trip my wife asked if I could install a light rack for jackets about 2’ long on the interior hallway wall to the right of the door. I am reluctant to do this and wondered if anyone has had experience or knowledge of the wall structure. The wall feels very firm and seems to be substantial. I am leery about using screws due not knowing the backing material in the wall. We have used command Velcro strips for other items but I don’t feel these would be adequate for this. Any suggestions, comments or thoughts are appreciated.

First, I used a stud finder to locate at least one of the studs. Then, with the smallest drill bit I have, I poked a couple of holes in the wall where it felt the firmest. That's how I found the second anchor point for ours.

We have two of the 5# Command hooks and they've worked great for fleeces all the way to parkas.

I installed this, just a different color, in our 311 in the same spot. One of the screws hit a stud, the other 2 are held in with 1/4" drywall anchors. I used those same anchors for wire shelving in the 311 and our 399, and for wood shelves in our 399, never had an issue. I'd take a picture, but my wife has the camper right now.

In our 2017, There are a few simple coat hooks that are standard on the right side of the Pantry.

I replaced them with a similar look, but with an additional hook.

I reused one of the screw holes and needed to use a new hole. They all go into a board already there.
I also installed more on the next level lower (or higher). I think I have a total of 6 hooks.
