    TST507 repeater

I’d like to wire up the repeater for TST 507 so that it is on while the trailer is plugged into the truck. I wondered if I could tap into the umbilical cord?

No. The 12V line on the cable is connected to the trailer battery so it has power all of the time.

Connect it to your front trailer marker lights. Run with your lights on and the repeater is on. I've done this on two different GD trailers.

Is there a convenient place to access wiring for the front marker light?
Looks like the easiest place would be behind the passenger side marker light closes to the door. I would really like to be able to install the repeater in the front storage area.

On my 337rls there is a bundle of wires coming from the front cap, through the drivers side propane storage area and into the the front storage area. In that bundle of wires is a thin solid green wire (12 +) and solid white (ground). Those were my marker light wires. I tapped into those and installed my repeater in the driver's side propane storage area on the outside wall.

On my 2600rb I cut out a little piece of the front wall in the pass through storage to gain access to the passenger side marker light wires.
