Kitchen faucet with sprayer trickle only.

I have a faucet that has a sprayer attached and I can’t figure out how to clean the screen. The bathroom has plenty of pressure but the kitchen faucet is only a trickle. My previous trailer had same problem and I just unscrewed the end and cleaned the screen to solve the problem but this nozzle doesn’t have a screwed on end. Anyone know how to take the spray nozzle apart to clean it.

Can you post a photo of which faucet you have? GD has used a number of different models.

If you look up in the end of the sprayer, you may see a plastic insert with notches to fit a special little plastic tool. Check in the bag of manuals and paperwork that came with your rig to see if there's a small plastic tool to fit up inside the sprayer.

Are you talking about a 5-point tool? I used a right angle pair of snap ring pliers to remove mine.

What usually comes with these faucets has two castellations at 180 degrees that match the faucet plug. Anything you can get in there to do the job that doesn't cause damage will work. I've used right-angle needle nose pliers in the past, too.

The spray head should also unscrew from the hose. There is usually a screen and restrictor there too.

I was able to unscrew the spray head from the hose and tried to clean it out. Didn't see anything come out.

I also did not find any tool or instructions in my Grand Design bag for the faucet.

I went to my dealer and they said the entire faucet will need to be replaced, they can't order the spray head. It is still under warranty so I scheduled first available slot for 29 July. Ill try cleaning it out again and see if will help for my next 2 camping trips.

I started up the large compressor and blew it out in both directions. It is now back to normal.
