Photography - show off your shots!

Photography nut here too Rob. Matter of fact, setting up my digital cameras I use old school techniques and only take one shot to make sure I have the F stop, aperture and speed correct.

When I show my kids my old 35mm cameras and setting them up (with a light meter) they look at me like I'm a nuclear scientist.

About half these old cameras I have used since 1967 when my grandmother got me into photography. B&W media was my favorite as I could make my own prints back then.

I bought a new light box however it's too small for my Dan Wesson 44 magnum.

I used to have a side business in photography in youth sports. Mostly team photos and individual photos.

I also made Montages for athlete's parents as well as recruitment videos for colleges. It was good money!

It’s hard for those young ones to fathom film photography and dark rooms. I started with an old Minolta and captured thousands of images while living in Alaska. Then the moving began as I started a new career, meanwhile back in Anchorage somehow the storage unit flooded, still can’t figure that one out. Lost it all.
