Took this picture this morning out the BR window. Not a great picture, but I rarely get pictures of these birds. I had to leave to go feed animals, but the wife said he stayed till around 10:00am (he was gone at 10:10)

Took this picture this morning out the BR window. Not a great picture, but I rarely get pictures of these birds. I had to leave to go feed animals, but the wife said he stayed till around 10:00am (he was gone at 10:10)

We are camped at Neskowin Creek RV Resort on the Oregon Coast. There are 2 or more Bald Eagles hanging around here. The nick name for the park is bunny rv park.
I haven't seen one get scooped up yet. I have seen an eagle scoop up a fish out of the surf before.

I didn't. Just zoomed into 100X and image stabilization kicked in. I did some post-processing to it using the editing tools on the phone.

Thanks. I've been messing with photography since I could walk as my father is a retired professional photographer. It's not a job for me but it's one of my many expensive hobbies!

Enjoy RMNP, it's one of my favorite places in the world. This last time we stayed at Manor RV park in Estes Park. Manor, Spruce Lake, and Elk Meadow are all in Estes Park and literally 3 minutes away from the Beaver Meadow Entrance to the National Park. They're nothing special in terms of RV parks, but they have hook ups and if you're camping there you're there for the NP and not the RV Park. they also aren't cheap which kinda sucks but again, you're paying for the location. I'd stay at any of those again. Also fun to note that all those parks get Elk literally walking through the campsites daily in the fall. I was taking an afternoon nap in a camp chair next to my rig one day and had a bull elk bugle about 30 feet away from me; I needed to check my underwear after that. lol
