LOL, same phone I have. The pro mode is fun to play with. Been watchiing and hoping the next S 23 ultra (it's a Note no matter what they call it) will have camera improvements worth upgrading for.

So funny! I'm hoping for the exact same thing. If the S23 Ultra is reasonably priced, I will be getting one too. Really looking forward to seeing the specs. Zoom function is already better than what our phones have. Probably need the 1 TB version though to store all my files!

If you all haven't figured it out, I love sunsets and waterfalls. Last night it was a Sunday sunset over St Pete as we visited the new (2020) pier. Great job on the upgraded pier.

Like all my other shots, I took these with my phone. No special case or protective cover. Just dunked it right in the water. I was impressed how they turned out.

    SO
You just put your phone underwater???

I have the note 10 also, but I don't have the guts to put it under water.

It does take great pics without even trying very hard.
Here is a picture of Drift Cr Falls and foot bridge ( near Otis, Oregon.

Great shots Ken! And yes I put my phone right underwater. It's a bit tricky though because touching the screen underwater doesn't work as well. I usually use the volume key to take a picture or I remove the S pen and press the button on it. Another reason I like the former Note series and now the Ultra series phones. I can use the S pens as a remote trigger for taking pictures. I will say that dunking your phone might cross the line of bravery and insanity. I've been "lucky" the multiple times I have done it. The important part is to not be underwater for a long time and then to shake the water out of the phone afterwards. And do not charge it using the charge port if water is detected. You can use wireless charging if needed. It's been a great phone and the pictures have been quite good for my eye. Trading it in though for a new S23 Ultra and looking forward to some photo chances with that phone!

Interesting info on the underwater operation. I've never used the s pen to make the camera work. I knew it did it, just never tried it. The Samsung Note phones have been powerhouse phones. Work supplied the phones for work and you could do 10 things at once. So I bought a used one from Amazon. Used it for maybe 5 years with ATT ( I was an ATT customer almost since cell phones came out and even had the "brick" ).
We switched to T Mobile when the Note 10 came out and purchased outright at Costco ( that keeps the cell bill down and Costco gave us 50% off ). We are saving over $50 a month.

Ken, if you want to upgrade all carriers are offering great money on the trade. My 10 was also a Costco buy @ $ 625.
On Samsungs web site you can get 800 for your note 10 plus for a limited time. The new 23ultra is costing me 379. Camera upgrade is huge and you get a free memory upgrade

Let us know how the transaction goes and how you like the phone.
