@dragonfly
Pay attention to your axle ratings. If those are in, you are fine.
As for the sea lawyers on here, you can always make sure your GCWR is in (it will be), and you aren’t overweight. Especially with axles also in. Although it sounds like everything will be fine for you.
The 450 is a totally different animal from any other pickup sold with a bed. I would take a 450 with a lower ‘sticker’ every day and twice Sunday versus a ‘higher rated’ but less capable 350/3500. The extra weight reducing payload went largely into parts that add capability, but the GVWR had to stay at 14k to stay non-commercial. This is one of very few trucks you can take right up to the limit and know you are still well within its capabilities. 1000lbs under the limit is basically an entire F150 hitch capacity under what that truck is capable of carrying.2022 Transcend Xplor 240ML

I just towed 2673 miles round trip to Disney World and averaged 10.2 mpg at 65-67 mph. CAT scale said I was at 13600 pounds on the truck and 12800 on the trailer axles, that's 4100 on the pin. My 450 handled it just fine and was sitting level with no air bags. The only bad part about the trip was it rained for 600 of the 1300 miles down and 400 miles on the way back . The **&&^%$ condition of I-10 in Louisiana and east Texas was terrible, the highway departments should be ashamed of themselves. You will be just fine with the load you have in your 450, the truck is ridiculously overbuilt for pulling these big 5th wheels. Enjoy your ride!

That sounds great!
I just wanted to mention that a little off topic about my exhaust brakes.
I am thoroughly impressed! I had a 2013 F-350 6.7L 6 speed and it did a very good job until the last leg of a 1,250 mile trip. I have driven up and down mountain roads and steep grades all around Durango Colorado and the 2013 SRW Exhaust brake performed very well. And then came the last about 40 miles of my trip where I went down a 7% posted grade for about 3 miles. I had to use my brakes over and over to maintain proper speed. Yes, I could have just geared down but I was trying to see if I could get the engine to an RPM where the exhaust brake would hold me back, but nothing doing. After I got the F-450 I hitched up the same fifth wheel and it handled my speed beautifully with zero brake applications and RPM at about 3,200 , 3,700 only for about 3 minutes. Everything about this 450 makes me smile!2021 F-450 King Ranch
