    exercising leveling jacks

is it possible to exercise the leveling jacks without hooking up to my tow vehicle ? Just recently opened up after winter season and im thinking this should be done at some point. 2020 310 GK.

With the slides in, you can retract the rear (4) struts, raise the front end a bit, and then start the auto-level routine. If it's been sitting for a while, the more important thing to do is to wipe down all the struts with a soft rag with some silicone lube on it. This removes dust and grit that will have collected and provides some lubrication so the seals aren't damaged when the struts are retracted. There's a section on this in your manual.

BTW - you can create a signature block with your RV and tow vehicle information (see mine below). That way you won't have to repeat that information whenever you post or ask a question. You can create a signature by going to:

Forum Actions (on menu bar) -> Edit Profile -> Edit Signature (under My Settings on the left)

Certainly. Simply pull in your slides, make surely your rig is firmly chocked, raise the rear jacks and then exercise the front jacks up/down, and then re-level. Looks for leaks at the fittings and otherwise at the jacks.

EDIT: Rob beat me by milliseconds and with more thorough instructions too.

On my Level Up system there is a "Manual Mode". I have to scroll to it then hit the teeny tiny enter button on the screen. At that point I can move the front jacks and the 4 rear jacks as much or as little as I want.

Excercising Levelling system while full timing

    Question..
Has anyone semi permanently fixed into a site left the rear 4 jacks down, then retracted the front fully, then down, THEN retract the rears?
I have a tripod stabilizer at the front (5th wheel hitch point) to add to stability and not really wanting to back the truck in to take the load off the front in order too fully retract and then deploy the jacks .
Possible? anyone do this with success? Leave the tripod connected?
For sure slides in, then when jacks up check torque on jack supports, then re-deploy.
But fronts up fully while rear 4 and tires on the ground, coupled with tripod support?
    Thanks all!
BTW... Tripod has a 5000lb load capacity.

Strictly JMO, but I wouldn't do it. The tripod might support it just fine, but I'd feel more comfortable with the truck. How long is it sitting without moving?

Months... However in re-leveling I do rotate tires, lube slides etc...
    Basic periodic maintenance...
Im thinking this time to check torque on levelers as Ive seen comments about loose ones.
    Tks!
