Winegard gateway Ethernet port

Our 2021 Momentum 350G has the Winegard GW-1000 gateway, and I noticed in the manual that it has an Ethernet port. I opened it up, and the port is unused. Could I connect a NAS to this port to serve up movies, music and other files on the Winegard WiFi network in our rig? Wasn’t sure if the Ethernet port was for some other use like diagnostics, etc.

Just saw no one ever answered. With my experience, I suspect that to be a WAN port and not LAN port, meaning it would be for hardwiring an external connection at a campground and not a switch port to be accessible from the WLAN side. When I can get back to my rig, I might give it a try.

I connected my laptop to the port and was able to connect and see other devices on the network so it appears to be a LAN port.
