    My project for today

Had a friend over yesterday and was showing my new Reflection 315 RLTS off. While using my phone to open bedroom slide we found this, picture 1. It is a knot in the plywood under the slide.Click image for larger version.

Did you determine the root cause of the problem?

Not really it looked like a bad spot in the wood. Kinda of a knot that didn't get planed or sanded good enough.

So, where on the slide out did you see this. I just bought a 315RLTS so nice to know if I need to look things over again for any defect while I can still take it back for repair.

On the bottom of the bedroom slide, about center. When slide is out look up at the bottom from outside.

Thanks! I will have to take a look at all the slide outs to see what they look like.

I would suggest that you paint over the painted area with Rustoleum Truck Bed Spray (it comes in a spray can). This product is waterproof and could prevent moisture from getting in under the paint. This is a product I use often and I really like it's finish and waterproofing characteristics.
