261bh stove and fridge on the slide?
New to the forum. We are thinking about buying the 261bh. We have looked at so many floor plans and have seen a fridge on the slide, but not one with the stove and fridge. Was wondering if I should be concerned about the heat and ventilation from both items? Thanks for your time.

Look long enough and you will see there are more floorplans with both in on slide than not.

Welcome to the forum. My last 3 campers had the stove next to the fridge, no problems.

IMO the only real downside to the stove on the slide in the 261BH is that if you step close to the stove while cooking you end up kicking the floor of the slide. That may not be true on all campers that have the stove in the slide, but on the 261BH it has to sit back far enough so that it doesn't interfere with the kitchen cabinets since they're directly to the right of it.

Congratulations! IMO the 261BH has one of the best floor plans in this size range. We're really happy with ours so far.

Thanks guys, Maiden voyage was great minus the water pump not working. I couldn’t hear it start up and looked for it and couldn’t find it in the trailer. The only place I didn’t look was under the bunk because the plywood was screwed down. Besides that the family had a great time. In contact with the dealer and GD and will get it looked at next week. Dealer thinks they screwed up on the winterizing.

It's behind the plywood panel at the back of the trailer under the bunk. You have to unscrew a couple screws. The valves are likely in winterize mode and the pump isn't too loud if it's only pumping air, it's possible you might have trouble clearly hearing it. Ours was shipped the same way, I had to set the valves correctly and then run the various faucets to get the pink stuff out.
