It is a teeny blue light that I can’t imagine lights up much

I'm surprised that GD would spend money to wire up a mostly useless little light that is obscure enough that few people have any idea that it exists.

I have no idea why they went this route

Maybe when dark it does illuminate the area well

I prefer the light that my 2400 has right on the skirt but it also doesn’t illuminate “under” the trailer much either

FT4NOW and NB Canada, thanks for that info. I could have easily missed that teeny light. I think I will have to head over sometime when it is dark to take a look.

Yup... same here on our 337RLS... took me a minute or two to figure it out... but a nice touch to help realize where the slide is... as it is easy to bump your head there!! Finally bought a hard shell that fits inside one of my baseball caps... thus far, it has saved me a lot of bumps on the bald head....

Another head knocking place. No blue lights or switches had to go to powerless pool noodle.

Narrowing it down! I went and took a look, and the water pump works no matter which way the switch is. I also couldn't find any lights near the sewer connection. Could not extend the slide because the storage spaces are too close, but that seems like the likely answer at this point. I am planning on calling GD Customer Service with another question so I will also ask them about this Mystery Switch.

Yes, if wired like mine it is wired like a three way switch. You could turn on and off at either end, or on at one end and off at the other.

It isn’t a water pump switch
The OP meant that the switch had zero effect on the pump

On our 2018 310, it switches on two LED blue lights underneath our bedroom slideout.

I have a switch like that, it lights 2 little lights under the slide next to the comparment

And if those "little blue lights" are anything like the one under the step they are bright.

Our 303RLS has two blue lights under the bedroom slides switch is labeled and a switched white over the drain pipe.
