Lower my 2021 Grand Design 17MKE
My Grand Design 17MKE seems so high. It's hard to get into as the first step is 12" off the ground. The bottom of the frame is 24" of the ground. My other concern how high the trailer is overall. As I look at the axle shackles it has pre drilled holes about 2" up from the existing bolts. Is it possible to lower it?

My last trailer was low
That definitely had its advantages
Easy to enter and exit and towed very good but there were times I wished it were higher
The sewer outlet was only 6 inches off the ground making my tote tank difficult to use and some campground hookups were almost going up hill
If it were me I still would just make a 2 foot square platform say 5 inches high

I agree, more advantage to it been higher. You can maybe look into replacing those steps with more adjustable. There's a few options. Or make a little box to step on.

Depending on the site, the first step of our 303 can be very high to get in to. Eventually I will replace the factory steps with the Torklift steps. Until such time we use an exercise (aerobic) step. It works well and is stable, is wider than the factory steps and is lite weight.

Before going through the hassle of trying to lower your rig take a look at something more portable to see if it works.
We have been using this Camco Adjustable Height Aluminum Platform Step for several years. It’s stable and light weight plus we can adjust the leg height to suite the campsite terrain.

As a side note; we have come across campgrounds where the sewer inlet sits a little higher and is not level with the site and we were glad our trailer was the height it was. You don’t want a situation where you need to unhook the sewer hose and walk it little by little to the dump inlet.2010 Tundra SR5 DC 5.7L 4x4
