Domestic 9100 power awning issue
Just needed to know what would cause a side of the awning to suddenly descend as if someone had pulled on it. It was only a little rain coming down and no wind. Now the unit is having difficultly opening with much popping and a lurch to the arm. Is this the motor of the awning or possibly another component of the arm. There has been no damage to the awning of our 2019 Imagine 2600 RB. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

On ours, we can lower it via the elbow to put an angle on the awning to help when it's raining. To straightened it out you just push up on it. Is that what you are referring to? Maybe pictures would help. I would also lube the moving parts and see if that would help.
