Truck options you wish were offered

I'm sitting at the dealership waiting for some service work and it got me thinking, what things do I wish were offered in a new truck. I'm partial to Ram so here's my list:

1. Please give me an updated 6.4L Hemi. It's been unchanged for years.
2. I want the split tailgate offered in the 1500s in the HDs.
3. The Ford on board generator really impresses me even though I have a generator.
4. Ramboxes AND gooseneck from the factory.

Let's hear what things you'd like. Please no brand bashing. That's not my intent.

The on board generator is neat...

I wish I ordered that with my new truck...

Had an poor experience with a Park Ranger where they went off with a "No Generators Allowed" rant...

After he turned off his truck to see if my Genny was running...

(Dude, if your pickup is too loud to hear my Genny when it's running... It isn't disturbing the peace)

I thought at that point, it'd have been cool to just have the rig plugged into the truck and look innocently at him and say " I don't have a generator"...

I too turned to RAM when the 4th Generation was introduced, and no regrets leaving my GM loyalty. Things I want RAM to offer:

- get with AISIN (or Allison) and let's get some more gears behind the Cummins;
- give optional manual control override for the 3500 rear air;
- BIG diesel tank option;
- INTEGRATION for aftermarket trailer cameras (not OE tack-ons);
- INTEGRATED trailer TPMS that can monitor multiple trailers setups and use universal sensors;
- factory hitching lights;
- in-bed power center with inverted AC power receptacle, 12VDC and USB; and,
- shed the DEF and emissions equipment after performing a simple mass balance analysis that you've netted nothing positive for the environment and only increased consumption of natural resources.

P.S. - I want Road Warrior mode for those fun days on the highway!

Vinyl floors in nicer trucks. I’m tired of cleaning mud out of carpet. The vinyl floors are only available in the base models.

More gears and manual control of the rear air.
A bigger fuel tank is a must have.
I love my 3500 Ram.

I love my ecoboost Ford but I like the Super Dutys more and I would like to see a twin turbo Godzilla motor offered. I doubt it will ever happen but I would like a little kid every time I drove it.

I'd like to see a split rear end. That would double the gears.

Ford has option to add an "upgraded" vinyl floor. My 2021 King Ranch has it and fantastic decision on Ford's part.

A Ram truck with either:

A: a Cummins w/a better trans and no or greatly reduced torque management.
B: a Duramax/10 speed Allison powertrain
C: a Powerstroke/10 speed powertrain without the CP4 fuel pump

The Ford generator on the 150's would be nice also.
