I prefer Performance Trailer Braking over the competition because of significantly less flex line.

We bought a kit from Bill at StopYourTrailer.com and had a local trailer shop do the installation. It’s been problem free almost 4 years now and the stopping ability is remarkably improved.

We purchased our disc brake kit from Performance Trailer Brakes. If I recall correctly I believe both PTB and Stop Your Trailer use basically the same major components. I didn't like the proposed layout of the hydraulic lines from PTB so I purchased additional tubing and fittings (through Amazon) for my hydraulic tubing run. I believe you cant go wrong from either supplier.

The brake controller is the Ford factory OEM one. It has selection for electric or Electric over Hydraulic selection. The actuator is a BrakeRite https://stopyourtrailer.com/wp-conte...rakerite-2.pdf EOH actuator. They mounted it in the front storage area high up on 5he battery side.
