    Bad Luck?

Okay Grand Design, enough is enough. 2018 399th. 2 pin boxes, brake failures every trip, bad controller, hydraulic line burned by brakes, brake magnets failed and now sitting in a truck stop with a broken leaf spring on a 4 year old camper. Bad luck? Maybe so.

Outch, that I'd bad luck and unfortunate. Like mentioned, these are not GD parts but sounds more like Lippert which is used across RV manufacturers.

A spring isn’t a big deal and who knows how it broke

It went 4 years working fine so it wasn’t defective when you bought it

We have had problems since day one. Have an extended warranty, thank goodness. But every trip we have had a breakdown. So frustrated!

I understand your frustration, I do. It's hard earned money for many of us and a 3 year rig shouldn't break down. Unfortunately, the reality is sometimes different. Maybe give GD a shout and see if they can help you with Lippert. It's a long shot but what do you have loose? 30 min on the phone.
