TCL TV above fireplace will turn on automatically when connecting to shore power

Every time I plug in my 2021 Reflection 315RLTS to shore power the TCL TV above the fireplace turns on. Any ideas how to make it stop? It's a bit of a pain when slides are in and I plug it in for charging/refer during storage.

There was a thread about this not to long ago. If you use the search feature you should be able to find it. If I remember, I think they are ship with the showroom feature activated. You just need to change that.

Perform a "reset" on it. The TV is in demo mode and will do that. When you perform the reset, it will ask you what mode you want to use.

I have mine in home mode and it still does it

I don’t believe a reset fixes anything

Just do what I do and unplug it. Takes 2 seconds

Plug it in when you want it

As others have said, if you go into the settings and restore to factory settings and then go thru the setup again, it should fix it. It fixed mine and many others....

Huh. I performed a factory reset on it, and when it came back up it asked me which mode (I don't remember the options), and from then on, it doesn't come on when power is applied to the coach. It was more annoying for the outside TV, but once I figured out the reset, I did it to the outside TV and both now stay off when 110vac is applied to the trailer. Just my experience... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Maybe. I will never use it anyway. It can stay unplugged

I can count the number of times we have used either TV on one hand. But then again, we've only had the coach for less than 6 months, and used it for 8 trips so far.

I just bought a GD 22MLE and my TV was turning on automatically when on shore power as well. The answer to this problem is it is in Store Mode. (Turns on when power is applied) in the settings is a factory reset. Start that process follow prompts. One will ask if for home use or. Store Mode. Select home use. This will stop the tv from automatically turning on. You will also get a bunch of free Roku tv stations if you connect it to wifi.
