How do you check weather along the route on a trip

Starting out on a trip from Houston to Franklin TN. With all the weather craziness going on, how do y'all check weather enroute? Mostly worrkied about high winds I guess.

I personally use the AccuWeather app and select make towns asking the way. Usually, since I'm driving no more than 400 miles in a day, my destination for weather is fine.

I usually check morning and night via my cell phone with a weather app.

We also use accuweather an weather underground. It helps to remember that a 40% chance of bad weather means 40% "somewhere" in the coverage area
