    New to Site!

Good Morning everyone! New to the site. My Wife and I bought our first travel trailer last week. We purchased a 2017 Grand Design Imagine 2600RB and we love it! Can't wait to do a lot of reading on here and meet some great folks! Anything I should do or buy right off the bat? I know I need tire and wheel covers but not sure what size to buy. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks again!

Welcome to the forum. Besides things like water, sewer hoses, pressure regulator and whatever else you might want to eat and prepare food, I would say purchase an EMS type surge protector. Progressive Industries is a popular choice and they are available in hardwired or portable version, make sure to get 30 or 50 Amp version to match whatever your camper is equipped with. If you search the forum for EMS or surge protector you can read a lot of discussion about them.

How can I tell if I need a 30 or 50 watt surge protector?

If your trailer plug has 4 prongs it is 50
    3 prongs is 30

Just for clarity, it's amps - not watts.

Welcome to the forum! It's a good idea to create a signature block with your RV and tow vehicle information (see mine below). That way you won't have to repeat that information whenever you post or ask a question. You can create a signature by going to:

Forum Actions (on menu bar) -> Edit Profile -> Edit Signature (under My Settings on the left)

Welcome to the group. The 2600rb is a nice floor plan. Like others mentioned a good surge protector and a good tpms is a good start to protect your new tt.
