I am pulling from Wichita Kansas and am going to do Toronto, then go over into Michigan, around the north end into Wisconsin and home. Anyone one from the Michigan or Wisconsin area that can give me some favorite campgrounds? We want to travel from Detroit area to Traverse city, up to Mackinaw, around into Wisconsin.....might stay north and ride along Lake Superior before heading south towards Des Moines and home.

Sorry for long post, but any campgrounds, advice pulling across the boarder, must see sites in Michigan or Wisconsin?

What do you mean by that? Regular driver's license is ok.

The enhanced liscense might just be a border state thing. For those that don't know , it is kind of like a passport for going to and from Canada. Have no idea if it will get you into Mexico or not.

Don't be suprised if they enact that US citizens could only enter Canada if they are Vaccinated... if they ever fully open soon.

Never heard of an enhanced license, although there are lots of drivers around that could use a little 'enhancement'..lol
With the type of gov't in power in Canada right now, you could put money on the idea that they will pass some kind of vaccine passport requirements. Which I'm VERY opposed to, but my point of view does not seem to get any coverage in the news.
To the OP, keep an eye on the quarantine requirements, just to make sure you don't get stuck in some hotel somewhere. Although I'm thinking the quarantine laws may be done by the time you are travelling, best be sure.

I live in Michigan and travel to Canada yearly (pre covid); we must have an enhanced driver's license for traveling across the border. That or a passport. This includes EVERYONE in the vehicle. Check it out.

It's coming back to me now, I've heard a little about these licenses. You don't need your passport with you if you have one I believe and I think you can also use a faster crossing lane.
From what I've heard on the news yesterday. Land crossing remains closed until July 21st, people flying in that are fully vaccinated only need a negative test and they bypass these mandatory Covid hotels and the 14 quarantine. That was last night's news, tonight might be different story. [emoji849] but this is for everyone, Canadians also.

Not the derail this thread, I just looked up the Enhanced Drivers License in Ontario and the program expired June 2019. They are still valid until they expire.
