But I'm going to recommend a park not super close as well. Sandbanks Provincial park at the other end of Lake Ontario. Great beaches and sand dunes.

I went down the 401 pulling our 5th wheel....not a fan. Washington beltway was better.

We stayed in Milton when we were visiting Hamilton/Toronto.
You’re right. I misread. Thought they were going through Wisconsin on their way to Canada. Although Sleeping Giant is nice, it’s 15 hours from Toronto. I will say that you’re going to have a hard time finding parks to stay at. Everything seems to be getting booked up at the start of the year nowadays. With some persistence, you should be able to get a site after someone cancels.

Reported June 21st, 2021 on WIVB.com out of Buffalo, NY. “There are no changes to our current border measures to those who are not fully vaccinated, and the travel restrictions for the nations, including the U.S., are remaining in place until at least July 21st,” said Public Safety Minister Bill Blair." The number of vaccinated Canadians is still quite low. I wouldn't expect the border to open for a while yet.

Wouldn’t surprise me that it’ll be NEXT year before the border opens. It’s such a stupid policy since anyone leaving or arriving by airline is A-OK. I guess those on a plane are automatically determined to be Covid free….

There is mounting pressure to open the border. A few months ago I was thinking Aug 21. Still think that is when it will happen. But they will probably toss in a few stupid rules that make little sense.

Actually what was said was the border closing was extended to July , not when it will reopen. And every month heretofore it’s always been extended out another month.
It’s been a ridiculous hardship on many people with untold number of families that have been separated for what, 18 months now?

I hear the sand dunes along Lake Michigan are a good place to go in Michigan. Frankenmuth is an interesting town. My wife loves the Bronners store.
