    Brake issue

    All,
We have a 2021 GDS 385 Gk (6000) miles and a 2016 GMC DRW Denali Duramax Diesel.
While driving today 5 miles to our destination we encountered a brake issue.
First it was “check trailer wiring” with “ trailer connected”
I stopped shut everything down, unplugged checked for dirt or wet plugged everything back in.
Got message “ service trailer brake system “.
Tried trailer brake controller. No brakes.
    Any help is appreciated.

Likely poor connection either physical or due to corrosion. Start at the trailer umbilical junction box (between pin box wingset) and check the crimped wire nuts for the blue brake lead and breakaway switch. If good there, leap back at check the connections backside of each brake drum backing plate. If all good and tight, time to break out the multimeter.
