If we don't hook up anything but electric, it takes me 15 minutes to unhitch, level, and put out the slides and the same to reverse it in the morning. Super easy. We'll run off the fresh tank and only hook up water and sewer every 2 - 3 stops to drain and refill. It's worth it to us to have our own bed (not the OEM mattress, of course), our coffee, our shower, etc. I'm working on our 2,200 trip from Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, to southern New Mexico for September right now and setting things up that way.

Take a look at the RV Trip Wizard app. We used it for a year & really liked it. You can get the app for just a month for about 20 bucks.

Ditto on the Fam Camps. The C-RV Military is a pretty good app to find military bases. I just checked it. If you could make it to Cleveland or Warren, OH area & stay at a Fam Camp, it's just a 4:30 drive to Toronto.

We stayed at Wright-Patterson AFB & it was great. You probably have been there, but the museum is superb! For us it's always worth planning a stop there. When I was in the navy we tried to plan RONs at an ABF, they were always so much nicer than the average Naval Air Station. I still do!

Sounds like a nice trip. Let us know about your experience at the border.
