    Sorry to bring this back up but the Y and regulator came last week. They were a bit heavier than I anticipated. Did you have concern about the weight on the inlet port?

    If you look carefully at the photo and read what I posted, the weight of the regulator and Y are not on the intake port. The weight is born by a plumbing wall-mount pipe support with a 12" SS flex hose going to the inlet port. (The pipe support is not readily visible in the photo but the SS hose is.)

    Noted. Was just curious if that entered your mind in installing the pipe support - I ordered based upon your original design and I get that it wasn't the inlet that cracked. But I might add a pipe support after hefting both items.

    The weight of those items was the reason I installed the pipe support and short SS flex hose.
