I pick up our new 340 RDS in a couple weeks

Tell me about the standard king mattress.

I replaced our last mattress with a memory foam. Will I be doing the same on this one or do they provide a decent one?

What one finds comfortable others can’t tolerate

In my Imagine people switch them immediately but I put the same topper I had in our previous hybrid and I sleep very comfortably

I'd say try it out for a night or a nap and see. I've read that GD had started to change their mattresses in 2021.

The mattress in our Solitude was horrible. It wasn't even foam...it was something compressed that looked like a shredded wheat biscuit. Ours was RV king. We bought a standard king memory foam and trimmed it. Perfect.

I have a 2017, so not sure if things have improved, but my RV king was horrible. Replaced with an RV king memory foam. Had to also add beefier struts to be able to properly lift the mattress to access the under-bed storage.

The mattress that came with ours was terrible. Just replaced and much happier. Slumberland even disposed of our old one and helped me get the new one in to the trailer.
