Day Trip To Shipshewana Indiana

We are staying in Richmond Indiana and took a day trip up to Shipshewana to meet up with friends staying in Elkhart getting a new Newmar MH with a full 48 volt solar package..
Boy I got to tell you its been years since we were up there in the RV manufacturing capitol of the US area, Shipshewana -such a little crossroads town but humongous traffic jam getting to the flea market area, got to be the biggest flea market in the US! There is a pretty big campground right across from the flea market that was full. License plates from all over the US.
In route on highway 5 passed by an RV transport company parking lot field and it was pretty full of all brands of RVs waiting to be delivered. Saw a road sign at the transport company "Transport Trucks Wanted".

Found a couple things for the RV at the market, all in all a good day walking the grid, the auction area right beside the flea market is insane, and we ate one of those big breaded tenderloins!! Had fun and a good day trip!

A day at the flea market is always fun. It's amazing how busy that little area gets. My favorite stop is E&S Sales to stock up on their in house made noodles.

Neve have tried the breaded tenderloins.
