17MKE Schwintek slide system

Early dual slide Imagines used a Schwintec system on both slides. Later models use Schwintec for the smaller slide and Lippert for the big slide.

Schwintek and Lippert are one in the same

I think you meant to say rack and pinion for the bigger slides

Found the slide controller in my Imagine XLS 17MKE. It's under the drawer at the bottom right of the Murphy bed.

So they did not move it when they added the Murphy bed. Glad you found it!

We have a 22MLE we don’t have a manual crank but did have an occasion when we couldn’t get the slide out back in. The control was under one of the table bench seats. Just sharing info!

Look on the ceiling of your pass-through. I had no idea and I was pretty much all over my trailer looking until it was pointed out to me.

My 2021 17MKE has a hole in the bottom of the slide for a crank but there is nothing behind it to crank. According to a GD rep I talked to on the phone the 17MKE does not have a manual crank.

We have a 2020 3250 BHS. The Schwintek controller is behind the bathroom drain pipe. The slide got out of sync with one side ahead/behind the other. The GD CS service rep walked me through the procedure in about 2 minutes. Basically press one button once and the another 7 times (can't remember the exact button sequence) and the main control panel is freed to fix the alignment with a series of in/out slide movements.
