Anybody install single faucet tankless water heater.

Wondering if anybody has installed a single faucet tankless water heater or single faucet mini water heater in their RV? Looking for recommendations.

If you own a new 337rls with propane only tankless water heater you'll understand why I would want to install a single faucet water heater for the kitchen sink.

I have not since our days of pop-ups when there was no water heater option!

I don't know if appropriate, but throwing it out there since we just got Nikki a new one... Would an electric kettle suit your need to span the quirks of the tankless?

I appreciate the suggestion but that won't really work. We need something that can deliver instant hot water for doing dishes.

Are you running off grid/ boondocking?

Electric is the only thing I am aware of for 1 faucet, but may be counterproductive if you are preserving water while boondocking.

Can't wait for the hot water to show up, probably don't have enough electric to run the insta hot either.

Full hook up use. I have the main propane tankless system if I ever go off grid. The problem isn't the time it takes for hot water to get to the kitchen sink on the main propane tankless system it's the amount of water going into the gray tank while waiting for hot water to wash dishes. We camp at places that have water and power but no sewer (dump station). Mrs skreef likes keeping a clean kitchen in the 337rls so she does dishes frequently during the day. We always run out of kitchen gray first. I also equalize the 2 gray tanks but we'd still run out of gray before black. Trying to solve that problem.

Ah, in this case why don't you consider a recirculation pump and bridge valve to keep heated water on tap? It'll result in more propane use, but you'll have the hot x water on tap and not fill the grey.

That's an interesting idea. Ultimately what I'd rather do is replace the propane tankless water heater with a 12 gallon electric/propane water heater. Just not sure I want to start ripping things apart on my still under warranty brand new 337rls. A proper single faucet 120v water heater should be a really easy install.

    Definitely keep the ideas coming.
