You are correct.
If you want to see how effective rinsing is with the valve open, just open the valve and run the black tank rinse until the water runs "clear" (no solids). Now close the valve and add 20 gallons of water then open the valve. You'll see how much stuff was left in the tank by keeping the valve open during rinsing.Brian & Kellie
