Hello - 2250rk

Been a lurker for a while, but now a forum member since we just got a 2250rk this week

We've been looking for this floorplan for the two of us for some time. This unit was manufactured in May of 2021, but we are actually the second owners. The previous owner only used it a couple nights and it looks and smells brand new. It has many of the 2022 features, such as the revamped cabinet hardware. Since they just discontinued this floor plan and not many units out there due to Covid, chip shortage, etc., we jumped on this unit when it appeared in RV trader.

Steph & Lise, I have the same truck as you and am considering the same trailer as yours or the 2050RK. I'm a RV newbie and would like to know if you have had any issues towing, I want to make sure I have enough truck to pull the weight and be comfortable/safe. Thanks.

If you want to start a new post we could perhaps help you in your decision

Trucks may appear the same but the only thing that can ultimately determine tow ability is a cat scale run to determine available payload. This can range greatly between similar trucks

Also what someone’s “comfort” level may not be yours
I have seen similar set ups as mine with people saying they are full “white knuckling “ it while I can drive with one finger

We took her out for the first shakedown trip close to home last weekend. But before, we brought it to the house to sanitize the fresh tank. It was a great weekend trip to North Beach Camp Resort in Vilano Beach, FL. A couple things to note. The gray and black tank label maker stickers were placed wrong in the bath area. We noticed after seeing gray 2 almost full and we went to partial dump, aaaaaaand it wasn't the gray tank. After looking at the waste valves, we could see one was gray and one was black. We'll need to remove and replace those stickers. Our zero G water hose leaked at the crimps and didn't want water dripping all over the pass through, so we just used the fill and water pump as needed for fresh. Replaced with a different type fresh hose. The one concern is the front cap up high small round passenger marker light occasionally turns on, but mostly stays off 95%. Any ideas or has anyone had this issue ?
