    WiFi booster

We are new to RVing. We have an Imagine 2970RL and love it. We are finding that WiFi is provided at most places we go, but the signal is too weak to stream movies. Can we have some recommendations on what to get to help with this?

You can boost all you want, but very, very few places have enough bandwidth to stream anything regardless of signal level. You need a cellular solution.

What jkwilson said - not many places have enough bandwidth to stream, and a lot of parks tell you flat out to not stream. We stayed at one KOA in Florida which would allow streaming, but it cost extra.
If you're lucky enough to be at a park which does allow it, we went with a Comfast CF-EW72. This allows us to connect to either a campground WiFi or or hotspot, and repeat the signal inside the camper. A Wineguard is another option that mounts on the roof of your RV, but it's more expensive ($80 vs $400). If you want more information about the Comfast (I think it's sold as a Joowin and TP-Link as well) let me know.

These folks are the gurus for connectivity while on the road:

    https://www.rvmobileinternet.com/

Start with their free information and, if you find it helpful, you can subscribe.

Most of us who spend a lot/all of our time on the road have mobile hotspots with high or unlimited data plans. That way we are not dependent on cr@ppy park wi-fi. Verizon has the best coverage nationwide, but some full-timers will have plans with two carriers just in case. Cellular boosters become the thing when you do it this way - but you can read all about it in the link above.

Star Link might become the RV golden standard if they'll eventually let you use it mobile.

And for what it's worth, we use a mobile hotspot most of the time. The Comfast CF-EW72 allows me to either connect to my hotspot and repeat it in the camper (plus the hotspot only allows 5 devices, so the Comfast allows me to "fan-out" to more devices), or connect to the campground WiFi and repeat it in the camper. Having a family with kids and multiple devices, it's easier for me if everyone always connects to the same WiFi and I take care of where that WiFi uplinks to

My wife still works three days a week. We bought a system from Mobile Must Have. You get a cellular-based router and even an antenna to mount on your roof (we have not done that yet). Our router has space for two SIM cards (we use Sprint & AT&T). Works really good, but we do burn through the gigs, especially when Mary has eight-hour Zoom days.

I've been looking at the solution below. I like it will run off of 12v vs 120v. Additionally, I can add it to the One Control network eliminating the need to switch back and forth between networks.

Have you read the reviews on it over on Amazon, Curtis?

What about them? Mostly good from when I just check, but I looked at the reviews on the website I provided, which were favorable.
