I lucked out. I bought almost nothing when I first got an RV (besides hoses and a vacuum breaker/pressure reducer) Listened to others on what they got and why, observed others, or just flat out smack my forehead... "I need ____" I still find I am missing something.
Still have a few things I don't need. Was parked to a guy on vacation and his setup looked like a swap meet blew through.

We bought a Camco “flexible” swivel stick for our 2021 303RLS & it works great provided the park water pressure isn’t low. We use about 1 per month to clean the tank sensors & it’s always worked. Tank reads 3 or 4 bars…we dump, flu sh, then use swivel stick & it reads 1 bar.
I think it was $18…well worth the small amount of $$ to know how full we are when boondocking.

Our tank isn’t directly below the toilet either…there is a 45deg elbow then the pipe runs fwd to the tank…hence the “flexible” swivel stick, which pivots down the pipe & into the tank.
I’m not an expert on your 5th wheel, I was pointing out that Huntr70 stating they don’t work on 5th wheels is not accurate. They do in fact work on some.
You’d need to verify for your unit.

The operative word here is a” flexible “ stick. Yes there is a bend, but the flexible portion will do the job on most. Getting ready to do my 320 soon as I am getting a hanging 1/3 even with multiple tank flushes

Just keep in mind that those sticks are only so long, and may not even reach the tank on a 5th wheel.
