Not sure what trailer you have, but in mine, I have three holding tanks. One gray tank for the kitchen, one gray tank for the bathroom shower and sink, and one black tank for the toilet.

The culprit could be one of a few things:
No water in the toilet bowl, possibly allowing smells to make their way into the trailer.
No water in the pea trap of your shower or sink, allowing smells to make their way into the trailer.
Bathroom vent is exhausting more air than what's coming into the trailer, thus pulling air from where it can (toilet, shower, sink, storage area, etc).

    What trailer do you have?
    What does it smell like?
What's going on when you notice the smell (after you've been towing, stationary, windy outside, exhaust fans on with windows closed, etc)?

As mentioned, it would help knowing what model you have. Best to simply add it in your signature to save you the trouble writing it everytime.
Are you on full hook ups with the gray valve open? If so it might be gas sipping back in from the campground sewer. We always keep ours closed add use the geo method in both black and grays tanks.

Also check the air admittance valve on the bathroom sink drain. If it is loose or bad, it will allow smells to come back up from the gray tank.

I replaced the air admittance valve (AAV) on my kitchen sink last night. You want to talk about a really, really bad odor - it was sway worse than I thought a grey tank could smell. We will begin treating our grey tanks with the same packs we use in the black.

PineSol works better. Galley tanks can get REALLY funky with food decay, yeasts from adult beverages and pancake batteries, etc.

X2 ! We need to schedule a meeting with Rob to get this resolved. Adult beverages down the sink is totally unacceptable !
