311BHS side windows on slide out will not lock in. Has anyone ever had to fix this problem?

Years ago, maybe decades ago, had a side window that the spring to push the hold pin in the latch was either missing or jammed. The hole was in the frame but when you pull the latches into the centre, to release from the closed (bottom) position, one side would not "auto" hold when it got to the top. I had to push out on the latch lever once the window was free of the locked position as it was moved upwards. Hopefully that's all it is.

Easy to see if the holes are in the frame, check that first.

One of my large panoramic windows behind my theater seats would not latched closed. It was a small battle with Lazy Days service department but they finally agreed to replace it.
