Hot Water Heater Too Hot
I have an Imagine 22MLE. The water is too hot. I looked outside by the equipment and don’t see any way to adjust it. Anyone know how to adjust the thermostat so the water is not scolding hot? Any help is appreciated.

There isn’t a way to change the temp, you just use more cold water.

For some models, there is an after market adjustable thermostat. But then it can be a challenge for the heater to keep up.

There should be a bypass valve behind the hot water heater that you can turn on a little that will mix in cold water. there is a cold water in and a hot out of the water heater the valve is between the two.
