    Black tank flush blow back

When I am finished flushing my black tank I turn of the water and let the tank finish draining. When I disconnect the hose I get a lot of water draining back out of the nautilus connection. It didn't use to do this.

Does this mean the back flow preventer is faulty? if so where is it located and how would I correct it.

Mine's done that from day one. Chalked it up to gravity. So I've added a shutoff at the black flush connector...

Already have a shutoff at the end of the hose...

Before disconnecting I close both and the spillage is held to a few drops.

It's clean water anyways. It's just the water in the line that doesn't make it to the tank and runs back down the line.

Thanks for the help. I was concerned the water was contaminated. I like the idea of adding a shut off. it is an easy fix.

    Thanks again

Don't have the answer for not happening before, but they usually do let the water out that is between the hook up and the vacuum break.

On my 315RLTS the back flow valve is roughly 10 feet away from the hose connection so it does usually flow quite a bit out when disconnecting the hose. It's normal for me.
