Need advice on satellite install
I have an air 360+ and just bought a dish pro satellite antennae and a quick release to put on the roof. I am not sure where to run the cable through the roof to reach the basement. I was thinking of trying to go through the air360 but what a pickle to peel that up with all of the glue around it. There is a little solar connector but no other holes through the roof . Is there a better way? Do I have to just run this cable solo?
Thanks in advanced Reflection RLS337

My guess is that you purchased a satellite antenna rather than the actual satellite. If that's the case, are you talking about a Tailgater Pro antenna? If you tell us the model and year of your RV, folks may be able to help you more. They're all set up differently. Finally, mounting the antenna on the roof will limit you if you every stay in places that have trees - the carry-out function of the antenna can come in very handy.

Good sense of humor!!
When you do get to a state that isn't burning (is there one of those in the west??), you might like the portability of a satellite antenna to avoid trees that block the signal.
I intentionally didn't mount mine on the roof but have had to climb up there to set it on the roof in some situations. Most of the time it's on the ground and chained to my RV.
I thought GD provided a chase from the roof to the basement storage for routing coax and/or solar power cables. Maybe it is under or inside your solar connection box?Larry KE4DMG
