I drank the dually cool-aid

Reported aboard in Sasebo, Japan a few weeks after the ship returned from Operation Frequent Wind. I spent the next 18 months as a Boatswain's Mate rescuing boat people in the South China Sea and taking them to the Philippines for medical aid and transport to the U.S. for settlement. Had a Skipper that loved to tempt typhoons and even split the gap between a couple of them a few times. Then stuck in the Philippines for 2 weeks waiting for Gerald Ford to B* slap the N Koreans in Operation Paul Bunyan after the axe murder incident on the DMZ.
Then as a Seabee in the sand for Desert Shield and Storm. Landed on Bahrain as Scuds were flying unguided overhead in the rainiest January they had in 20 years.
I sailed around WesPac a bit.
Now I have to deal with you guys. I think the Navy may have been easier.

Rust Bucket Ram?

Here in MT, just look at 5 year old trucks. Rams are the first rust buckets. Good engines though!

Welcome to the "Dark" side....LOL! Out of curiosity, I looked up my 2016 F350 Dually today and it is worth about $8000 more than I paid for it in June of 2017. Unbelievable huh?

How did you look it up? I tried Kelley Blue Book, but I couldn’t put in dually.

I was just looking online at a 2020 F350 XL 6.2L, 10 speed, 3.73 rear end, regular cab, DRW, 4x4, long bed. 1,033 miles. Seriously considering.

My '17 Cummins Ram dually retail is up another $1550 in the last month or so. $15k more than I paid for it last October. Not about to sell it though. It's paid for and I love the thing.

The Fords are great trucks. Probably the best looking of any. The issues begin when they get hit. I manage a Ford certified collision repair center. We work on these aluminum trucks constantly. I'll stick to my mostly steel Ram.
